Covid-19 Important Information: Carr’s Supplements

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE:

Carr’s Supplements is treating the spread of Coronavirus extremely seriously, with the health and well-being of customers, staff and the public being our top priority. The situation is constantly changing, however we would like to offer reassurance that we are doing everything within our power to ensure our business continues to function as safely and productively as possible, in order to fulfil the needs of our customers.

 

Social distancing:

Several measures have already been introduced in accordance with government and World Health Organisation guidelines. A period of social distancing has been adopted whereby our account managers have been asked to work remotely for the foreseeable future.

Office-based personnel have been asked to work from home where possible and conduct their daily business digitally, in an effort to reduce personal contact. All staff and merchant training/meetings have been cancelled in accordance with health guidelines regarding large gatherings.

On occasions when face to face meetings are absolutely necessary, our staff have been advised to conduct business in the open air and remain a minimum of two metres apart at all times. All staff have been issued with hand sanitisers and have been advised to use these regularly when hot water and antibacterial soap are unavailable.

 

Supply chain and deliveries:

Our procurement and manufacturing team have been working behind the scenes to ensure that manufacturing continues with as few interruptions as possible. As it stands our supply chain remains intact and our existing centralised stock of products remains healthy. However due to the ever changing nature of Covid-19 and the restriction of movements that are being imposed, we can not guarantee that supply will remain unaffected.  We are working closely with our approved hauliers to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with government recommendations regarding hygiene and social distancing.

 

Future updates:

We will continue to monitor the situation and hold daily meetings to discuss and approve the best course of action. Any fundamental changes that might affect the business will be communicated through our website and social media channels.
